No more monkeys jumping on the bed!!

One little monkey jumpin on the bed, she fell off and bumped her head~ this is one of Kates favorite books, in fact she likes it so much that she wanted to try it out for herself. On tuesday she had just woke up from a nap and was jumping in her crib just laughing and chattering away. I was on the phone with my sweet friend Lacey (who I am way excited for). I then heard a big THUD then crying, I ran in her room and found her face down on the floor. She cried for a few minutes then stopped, she started playing and I assumed that she was fine. Until I noticed that when she went to crawl or reach for something she would start crying and pull her arm back. I called the doctor and they told me to come in as soon as possible. We went in got x-rays and found out that she had a little fracture just above her left wrist. She was such a trooper. They put a splint on for a few days and she got a cute pink cast on Friday. She has not let this cast slow her down. She is such a good little girl. But April 12th can not come fast enough, it is already starting to stink.Bath time has been a bit challenging. I had to cover it with a towel then taped a walmart bag over it. It kind of ticked her off!!!
This weekend we went on a little get away. It was so nice to get out of the valley and the usual day to day stuff and just relax and hang out. Check out that cute cast. And look at that little cheese ball
My Grandma Potter makes the Best rolls, I can not remember a family party where we didn't have her rolls. She came to my house today and taught me how to make them. I sure love my Grandma and am so glad that she passed this family recipe on to me so I can carry on the legend of Grandma Potters rolls. Thanks again for teaching me. I also have to send a shout out to my Grandpa for hanging around for a few hours while we baked away. He was busy entertaining Kate by taking her on a walk and reading many books to her. He is just so cute with her and she is pretty fond of him too.

The finished product~ and boy were they good.

I hate thinking of a title!

I am really lacking the motivation to update this so called blog. The first reason is that our computer has been having some issues, it will just randomly shut down while I am using it, so I didn't want to deal with that. The second reason is that by the time I can actually blog some of the things we have been up to the events were weeks ago and I figure that nobody cares by then. The last thing I posted was about Christmas so I need to do a little catch up. Kate and I have been passing the winter days outside playing in the snow. She can not get enough of the freezing weather. But she does took super cute in her snow outfit. We have also been to a few Basketball games and she is so good to just sit on our laps and watch the game and the people around her. She does HATE Big Blue. She freaks out any time we way his name.We had a great Valentines day. Lee and I got messages then went to Texas road house for lunch. It was so nice. Lee made me a candy bouquet because he knows how much I LOVE sweets.Mostly we have just been chilling at home praying for the snow to melt. Kate is growing up so fast, she knows all of the animal sounds and they are so cute. We just are loving this stage in life.

Until later. We are hopefully getting our computer fixed soon so I will be able to post more. Enjoy this weather, we sure are.
