No more monkeys jumping on the bed!!

One little monkey jumpin on the bed, she fell off and bumped her head~ this is one of Kates favorite books, in fact she likes it so much that she wanted to try it out for herself. On tuesday she had just woke up from a nap and was jumping in her crib just laughing and chattering away. I was on the phone with my sweet friend Lacey (who I am way excited for). I then heard a big THUD then crying, I ran in her room and found her face down on the floor. She cried for a few minutes then stopped, she started playing and I assumed that she was fine. Until I noticed that when she went to crawl or reach for something she would start crying and pull her arm back. I called the doctor and they told me to come in as soon as possible. We went in got x-rays and found out that she had a little fracture just above her left wrist. She was such a trooper. They put a splint on for a few days and she got a cute pink cast on Friday. She has not let this cast slow her down. She is such a good little girl. But April 12th can not come fast enough, it is already starting to stink.Bath time has been a bit challenging. I had to cover it with a towel then taped a walmart bag over it. It kind of ticked her off!!!
This weekend we went on a little get away. It was so nice to get out of the valley and the usual day to day stuff and just relax and hang out. Check out that cute cast. And look at that little cheese ball
My Grandma Potter makes the Best rolls, I can not remember a family party where we didn't have her rolls. She came to my house today and taught me how to make them. I sure love my Grandma and am so glad that she passed this family recipe on to me so I can carry on the legend of Grandma Potters rolls. Thanks again for teaching me. I also have to send a shout out to my Grandpa for hanging around for a few hours while we baked away. He was busy entertaining Kate by taking her on a walk and reading many books to her. He is just so cute with her and she is pretty fond of him too.

The finished product~ and boy were they good.

Oh I'm so sorry about Kate's arm! I bet the cast is so annoying! Yesterday I saw your dad walking with Kate and I pointed them out to Spencer and he kept yelling, "Iiii Kate!" (Hi Kate). I think they're going to be buds.

Emily, your little girl is so freaking cute. We need to get together for a play date with our kids. I just did Jen's hair and I am going to have a BBQ at my house in April and we need to get everyone together. I'll let you know when, those rolls can come too.

Darn it. I am dreading the day Kaden falls out of a tree or something and comes in with something wrong. she looks like a champ though. And those rolls look mighty tasty!!

Hey Emilie! I was on Lacey's blog and found yours. So sad about Kate's broken arm! That sounds so miserable. She is so cute and you guys make an adorable family!
