Christmas fun!!

Christmas at the Wilson home was so great. It was so fun to see family and for them to meet Kate. Lee and I had a great Christmas and kind of spoiled ourselves, and didn't get much for Kate because she would not know the difference. We loved waking up Christmas morning in our own home and starting our own traditions with our little family. With Lee working two jobs and me working part time, it seems as if we never see each other, so we really enjoyed just being together over the break. Here are some pics from the week~

Shots ahhhh!!

I took Kate to her two month check up. Here is the update: she is now 11 pounds 8 ounces and is now 24 inches long. The doctor said that she is doing great and will definitely going to be tall ( which Lee and I are very happy about). Kate was born with a little mark on one of her fingers on her left hand, the doctor says it is a strawberry mimanginoma ( I know I totally butchered the spelling) but it is just a spot where the red blood cells have raised to the skin surface and it will gradually fade over time.
The worst part was that she had to get three shots. I was so nervous, no parent wants to see their child in pain, but I believe in immunizations. As expected she screamed, the kind of cry where her face turns red and she doesn't breath. I hated it. I took her a good few minutes to calm down. She was a little crabby the rest of the day, thank goodness for children's Tylenol. But she is growing like a weed. And getting cuter by the minute.
PS. can you believe this is the second post in two weeks. I know! I am getting better at this.

2 Months old? WHAT??

I just can not believe how big Kate is getting. These last two months have gone by so fast and it seems like she was a newborn for about a minute. But Lee and I are both loving how she can smile and coo at us. She is so fun to watch, who needs t.v. I thought that after she was born I would be better at blogging but it turns out that I was wrong. But I really at going to try to do better. Here are a few cute pictures of Kate:

So dang cute!!!!

Lee and I are loving being parents. Kate is such a good baby, she sleeps pretty well at night and we just love honding her and laughing at all the cute things that she does.

So my mom has a teddy bear that wears an Aggie cheerleading outfit, we decided to try it on Kate; and it fit. We already know which school she is going to,she is already an Aggie Fan. Don't you love the nasty umbilical cord!

Halloween was fun, we went to my parents house and my mom was more than happy to watch Kate while Lee and I had some alone time and watched a movie. We didn't get her a costume but we thought this outfit was stinkin cute. We are just loving every minute, we still can't believe that she is here and that she is really ours, and we think that she is so stinking adorable. We just love her.

Introducing Kate Elizabeth Wilson

Kate was born Sunday October 12th ( her due date) at 2:19 pm. She is 8 lbs and 11 ounces and 20 and 1/2 inches long. We came to the hospital at 3:30am on Sunday and the labor and delivery went well. Once the epidural kicked in it was great. They had to do the Epidural twice, because it didn't work the first time, so that was the worst part but I made it through.
Kate is so wonderful and sweet. She is a very well-mannered and calm baby, she is so beautiful. We feel so blessed to have her in our family and that we get to have her for eternity. Here are some of our favorite pictures of her. Enjoy!!!!!

~ Any day now~

So here is the update, We went to the doctor day and I am dialated to a 2, which sounds great to me. The doc said most likely this week but who knows. I am still feeling great, but I am getting kind of tired of the swollen hands and feet, and I am not sure how many more stretch marks I can get, before my skin will explode. But Lee and I are just so ready and so excited to see and hold our little girl. The house is as clean as it will get and the hospital bag is packed. We feel like we are ready but we are first timers so any advice or suggestions would be great.

So here is the latest picture and look how cute her room is, it is as cute as it can be living in an apartment. Well I hope that the next post will have a cute baby girl in it. Everyone cross your fingers, and wish us luck!!!!!!!

5 weeks left!!!

So this is not my most favorite picture but I am sure that all pregnant women say that, even thought everyone else says that we have a glow and that we look so cute,I personally don't feel so cute. So here is the most updated picture. At our last doctors appointment he said that I was measuring a little small, so we made an appointment for an ultrasound. We were super excited to see our little girl again. The tech said that everything was great and that she is actually 6 pounds 4 ounces, she even has some hair. She said that by my due date she will be around 8 pounds, crazy huh!!! We feel great that everything is is going well and that she is healthy and growing.
We also graduated from our preparing for childbirth class tonight, but I am not sure if we really are ready, I guess we will see in about 5 weeks.

"That is supposted to fit through where?"

Lee and I went to our first preparing for childbirth class last night. We were very excited about going, it is making it all seem so real. But when they showed the stages of labor video, I really wanted to rethink this whole having a baby thing. Lee and I both had the funniest/disturbed look on our face during the entire video. After seeing that I don't know how women can have so many kids. I also am questioning myself, if I can really do that. But I look at all the mothers I know and say "well if they can do it I for sure can" I guess we will see, 7 WEEKS FROM NOW. AHAHAH!!!
